Serving after serving

Of the incredible feedback we’ve received over the past month, the note below is one we think bears repeating. Steve, we agree – if one group is going to lead this country the way it should be, it is our vets.

Below, Steve’s powerful words of encouragement…

“If any group of Patriots is going to save this country from becoming another just fading into history, it will be our vets.”

“….as a child it seemed normal enough to me that I thought it was something most people did. I was born late in my father’s life. He was 50. And a WWII combat vet. With that age difference he started having significant health issues my senior year of high school. Only parent, only child. I couldn’t leave with a clear conscience. I do not regret being there for him, yet my biggest regret is that I have not served my country. That said, my intent was to serve and upon discharge into civilian life become a police officer. I started my public safety career as an 18 year old high school senior as a volunteer firefighter. Haven’t regretted a day since. To the contrary, been blessed. I can’t call myself a vet, but I know many. Different ages. Different times they served. Utmost respect for all. I can however call myself an American Patriot. If any group of Patriots is going to save this country from becoming another just fading into history, it will be our vets. Thank you for your service, and your continued service to the greatest country in history.

Godspeed.

Be safe.”

To Steve and all supporters of the Foundation – thank you. We’re humbled to continue to serve after serving.
